I've been training for my marathon, and something keeps standing out.

Some days my legs hurt.

My lower back gets tight.

There are mornings when my body reminds me of yesterday's work before I even get out of bed.

But here's the interesting part.

When I stay consistent, my body adapts.

The same run that felt impossible a few weeks ago starts feeling normal.

Life works the same way.

The conversations that used to make you nervous become easier.

The responsibilities that once felt overwhelming become part of your routine.

The discipline that once felt impossible becomes your identity.

Growth rarely feels comfortable while it's happening.

That's why so many people stop too early.

I'm not chasing comfort.

I'm chasing the person I'm becoming through the process.

Whether it's fitness, business, faith, or leadership, I'm learning that the discomfort is often proof that something is changing.

Takeaway

Your body adapts.
Your mind adapts.
Your life adapts.

Keep putting in the work.

Future you will be grateful you didn't quit.

Question: What's one physical or mental challenge you're working through right now? I'd love to hear about it—just reply and let me know.
